Oral Examination

The duration of the examination for candidates without disabilities is 15 minutes. Arrangements for candidates with disabilities are outlined in the "Implementation Regulations."

The oral examination is divided into three parts:

1. In Part 1, candidates engage in a brief conversation with their interlocutor about themselves, covering topics such as school and family.

2. Part 2 involves discussing a specific topic with the interlocutor, during which candidates are expected to express their opinions.

3. In Part 3, candidates are tasked with planning something collaboratively with their interlocutor.

Throughout the oral examination, which lasts a total of 15 minutes, the use of aids such as dictionaries or mobile phones is prohibited.

The speaking module assesses candidates' ability to present information fluently and participate effortlessly in discussions, making appropriate use of idiomatic expressions and differentiating finer nuances of meaning. Prior to the presentation, candidates have 15 minutes to outline and structure their talk on the selected topic.

In the speaking module, candidates discuss everyday topics with their partner, responding to questions, expressing opinions, and making suggestions. They will deliver a free presentation on a subject from daily life and address related inquiries. The examination dialogue is evaluated based on established criteria.
